Understand indexing, re-syncing, and Knowledge gaps

Processing status

Files and imported pages must be processed before the Agent can retrieve them. A pending or processing source is not ready. An indexed source can be used when AI use is enabled.

Recover a source

• Use Retry index for a failed file after confirming the file is readable and supported.
• Use Re-sync for an imported website page when its source content changes.
• Check that the page is public HTTPS content and that access controls do not block retrieval.

Knowledge gaps

Knowledge → Gaps prioritizes questions the Agent could not answer safely. Review the original question, decide whether it deserves a reusable answer, and update the authoritative source rather than adding several overlapping documents.

Re-test after changes

Important Knowledge changes can make the current launch test stale. Run a paraphrased question in Agent Test and complete any required launch scenarios again before relying on the updated answer publicly.
