Install the Smartbar on your website

Before installing

1. Open your Smartbar or widget settings in Adealo.
2. Add the exact production website domain where the Smartbar will run.
3. Finish the domain verification shown in the setup flow.
4. Customize and save the Smartbar before copying the installation code.

Add the script

Copy the generated installation snippet from Adealo and add it once to your website’s global layout, preferably near the end of the page body. If you use a tag manager or site builder, add it through that platform’s custom-code feature.

Verify the installation

1. Publish your website changes.
2. Open the production website in a private browser window.
3. Confirm the Smartbar loads without a domain or App Check warning.
4. Send a test message and confirm it appears in the Adealo inbox.

If it does not appear

Check that the script is present only once, the configured domain matches the live hostname, the page’s content security policy allows Adealo resources, and a consent manager or ad blocker is not delaying the script. Re-copy the current snippet if the Smartbar configuration was replaced.
