Manage data retention, deletion, and audit logs

Workspace admins manage these controls from Settings → Security & Compliance.

Retention policy

Choose a 30, 90, or 180-day conversation retention window. This applies to conversations, messages, and session summaries. Audit logs have their own retention setting and can be kept longer for compliance.

Delete visitor data

Use Data retention & deletion to remove the identity records, sessions, and messages tied to a visitor email. This is an irreversible admin action, so verify the email and the scope before confirming it.

Review the audit log

Use Settings → Security & Compliance → Audit log to review recorded changes across domains, AI, workflows, privacy settings, and other administrative activity.

Delete your login account

Account deletion permanently removes the login account and workspace membership. A workspace owner must transfer ownership first.
